AMERICAN FESTIVAL OF MICROTONAL MUSIC (AFMM), under the direction of Johnny Reinhard,
presents a concert at the Cathedral Church of St. Paul, located at 138 Tremont Street across the Common. 
Admission is $10; $5 students/seniors.

Friday evening September 7th at 7 P.M. in the Cathedral Church of St Paul explores new terrain,
finding a tuning in the highest stretches of overtone tuning heard in Johnny Reinhard's VIBRA, 
featuring Glenn Dickson and Todd Brunel (clarinets), Matt Somalis (flute); Bradford Catler (electric fretless bass),
and including Reinhard (bassoon). Edward Broms, Director of Music and Organist of the Cathedral Church of
St. Paul, performed the grueling calculations while a student at the New England Conservatory studying with Joseph Maneri. 
Past Guggenheim winner John Eaton produces his ELEGY FOR JANE to spotlight Sharon Harms (soprano),
Oren Fader (guitar),  Joseph Brent (mandolin), and Sharon Yoon (harp), led by Karl Kramer.
Boston based Robert Bonotto was commissioned to compose a brand new work to be premiered for this concert, 
MEMORIES OF ITALIAN DREAMS, featuring Samolis, Dickson, Brunel, and Reinhard. 
Angelos Queztalcoatal is the evening's guitar soloist, performing A TRIBUTE TO VAN HALEN,
and his homeland's microtonal master, Julian Carrillo, in PRELUDE SONIDO 13 AND ETUDE NO. 1.  
Todd Brunel leads The Know Trio in his VORTEX OTHER MUTHER and featuring Ima Jonsdottir (violin),
Dan Shaud (French horn), Gary Fieldman, drumset/percussion.
